Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika , on Tuesday, said that the rehabilitation work at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu will be completed before the end of April 2020. The Minister said that he will be relocating his office to the Enugu Airport temporary to directly supervise the work.

2. ICPC Declares Former Buhari Appointee Wanted

A former chairman of the Special Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP), Okoi Obono-Obla , has been declared wanted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). According to the anti-graft agency, declaring Obono-Obla’s wanted was because of his “repeated failure to appear before it to answer questions bordering on allegations of fraud and corruption”.

A study done by a German scientist Dr Karen Weatherby, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, has revealed that staring at women’s breasts is healthy and also elongates the life span of men. 8. NEMA Official Reveals Number Of Traders Affected By Onitsha Fire

No fewer than 2,000 traders suffered huge losses in the fuel tanker fire that destroyed major parts of the Ochanja Market in Onitsha, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). The South-East Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Fred Anusim, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu while speaking on the extent of damage by the fire.

The Nigerian Police Force has uncovered another torture home in Zaria, Kaduna State, on Tuesday few days after an ‘Islamic torture Centre’ in Nassarawa Quarters, Sabon Gari, Daura, the home town of President Buhari Muhammadu was closed down.
Recall that a similar centre was discovered barely two weeks ago in Kaduna with chained inmates.

Operatives of the Nigerian Army have arrested 16 Boko Haram terrorists, including two top commanders of the sect during a sting operation.
