Again, Many Injured As Gunmen Attack UniAbuja Hostel

Unknown gunmen have attacked the University of Abuja’s medical hostel, leaving many students injured and hospitalized.

The suspects stormed the hostel with guns and cutlasses around 2a.m on Tuesday and carted away valuables after inflicting wounds on the occupants.

JNJGLOBALGIST.COM understands that almost half of the students were severely beaten and a girl was allegedly almost raped.

The affected victims have since been rushed to the University of Abuja teaching hospital’s accident and emergency unit.

Recall that masked gunmen in August attacked the hostel and injured occupants of the hostel.

A social media user, Dr. Valentine Favour, who posted a video of the incident on his twitter handle, said “the herdsmen were there to kill the students and possibly steal their belongings.”
