The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, over his role in the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party. The decision followed the vote of no confidence passed on Oshiomhole on Tuesday by the Chairmen of the APC in the 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state. A statement jointly signed by the APC Chairman and Assistant Secretary in Edo, Anselm Ojezua and Ikuenobe Anthony, respectively explained that Oshiomhole was suspended for his alleged role in the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party.

Former vice-president Atiku Abubakar has condemned the Nigerian Senate for introducing a bill that seeks to establish a commission to check hate speech in the country. The executive governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has approved Friday, November 15 as a public holiday for all schools in the state.
