1. Names And Positions Of 35 Osinbajo’s Aides Recently Sacked By Buhari

Recall as previously reported by JNJGLOBALGIST.COM, the President who is currently in the UK for a private visit sacked 35 aides working in the office of Vice-President.

2. Kogi Guber: Court Orders INEC To Include SDP Candidate, Natasha Akpoti

The restoration of Mrs. Natasha Akpoti of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as a candidate in the forthcoming November 16 governorship election in Kogi State has been ordered by the Federal High Court in Abuja today.
Justice Folashade Ogunbanjo-Giwa gave the directive to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) while stating that the commission acted above the law by refusing to accept the party and its candidate for the poll.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has banned all antigraft agencies in the country from seizing assets of corrupt public officials.

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has refused to rule on the bail application filed by the former Chairman of defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
Justice Abang who said the ruling would be made known at the close of work, attributed the reason to the heavy workload on the court.

A former Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr. Monday Ubani, has condemned the failure of President Muhammadu Buhari to transmit power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo before embarking on his private visit to London.
In his submission, Mr Ubani, says President Buhari breached the constitution for failing to hand over to Osinbajo.

6. Eid-El-Maulud: FG Declares Monday Public Holiday

The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday (November 11) as Public Holiday in commemoration of the 2019 Eid-El-Maulud which is a commemoration of the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
The Director Press and Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, Mr Mohammed Manga, announced this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja on behalf of the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

7. FG Orders Stoppage Of Fuel Supply To Stations Around Land Borders

The federal government has given a directive that petroleum products shouldn’t be supplied to fuel stations within 20km of the borders.
The order was given through the Nigeria Customs Service‘ comptroller general, Hameed Ali, in a memo dated November 6.

Yinka Odumakin, the spokesperson of Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has noted that the office of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is been undermined.

The Appeal Court sitting in Owerri, the Imo State capital, has affirmed the election of Senator Rochas Okorocha (APC-Imo West).
The lead judge, R.A Ada, who read the judgment pointed out that the appeals filed by Senator Osita Izunaso of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and Jones Onyereri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Okorocha lacked merit.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied reports that it has refused to comply with a court order granting bail to the convener of Revolution Now protest, Omoyele Sowore. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, spokesperson for the DSS, Peter Afunaya, said the Service was yet to be informed that Sowore had perfected his bail conditions as stipulated by the court.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has assured that there will not be a scarcity of petroleum products during the Yuletide. The Christmas and New Year season in Nigeria is usually characterised by a scarcity of petroleum products especially Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). However, the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kyari, has assured that the agency has made adequate plans for the period, saying there would be an abundance of the products.
